Slippery foot pedal

Postby wr1944 » Tue Jul 25, 2017 5:03 pm

Sorry for the incorrect title. A pedal is by definition foot operated. Pedal, from the Latin pedis = foot related.

When you operate your pedal on a smooth floor, even with rubber feet or strips, it has the tendency to slide away. You can buy special anti-slip pads but there is a simpler solution. I use those small silicone mats you use in the kitchen under hot pots and pans. The small ones are about the size of a pedal. There are also larger mats so you can cut out the right size if you have a bigger pedal.
