embroidery arm stuck

embroidery arm stuck

a friend has the ult2003D and the embroidery arm is stuck [as close to the needle as possible] do you know of anything she might try to get it to unstuck.

Jeri. I would say that something must of slipped under the embroidery arm. Move the machine around to see but don't force anything, Some times when the Embroidery arm clips in, It may of taken a small piece of material with it which may cause the arm to jam as it runs. I think the embroidery arm is moved by a belt so i am quite confident there must be something there as the belt is not visible so cannot jam. Ivan :shock:

thanks Ivan the arm sorta took a hard bump but didn't hit the floor. when she connects the embroidery unit the carriage just sounds like it wants ot move but wont. she is planning on carrying it in to have it looked at.
