This is more an announcement that I've started importing bulk and then selling individual parts and accessories for various makes and models of vintage sewing machine. At the moment it's just on eBay and through my housemate's vintage furniture shop, but I'm in the process of setting up a website to sell my wares. I am based in Australia, but many of the smaller items can be sent at letter rate so postage should not be too outrageous even for those based in the UK.
At present I have leather belts for treadles, Singer style VS shuttles and bobbins, pairs of slide plates for 3/4 size Singer VS machines (28 & 128) featherweight (Singer 221 etc) bobbin cases, Singer 206 bobbin cases, Singer 15K88 (11 o'clock) bobbin cases. I will soon have stock of most of the more common types of tension check spring as well as many other parts commonly needed to renovate vintage and antique sewing machine.
Hope this is not against the rules of the forum or considered spam, if it is I have no problem with this thread being removed. If it is allowed, and there are forum members who are having difficulty finding parts or need advice with renovating a pre-1960 machine, please ask me. _________________ I sew therefore I am, Cyndy Kitt

Well the only other two I have dealings with are Cindy Peters in the USA and Helen Howe here in the UK for the really old stuff. Helen only does rescued parts, so some of those are a bit scarce. Graham Fossdyke only does genuine rescued bits for Featherweights, so again, some are a bit rare.
No-one has needles for the Adria Saxonia I have any more. Takes the same needles as the Singer Model 12, and they are no longer made. I have a couple that can be polished up for demonstration work, but not enough to use the machine properly.
Ron Anderson in the USA does things for most older Singers, but again, he's in the USA, and most of his stuff is for the post all black period.
All good folk to deal with, I have to say. _________________ Kate XXXXXX R.C.T.Q Madame Chef des Trolls
